After a multi-million pound refurbishment The Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) is looking resplendent and is well worth a browse. The Cafe is in the heart of the museum and is managed by Dartmoor Kitchens. There is filter coffee, teas and home-made cakes on sale. The place is often busy with the very young and very old so its not the best place to get some work done (especially with the screaming kids) but it is somewhere different to meet. Bear in mind its closed on Mondays.
The wifi is avaialble through-out the museum and cafe. You need to enter a user name and password that is given to you as you try to log-on/open your browser. The connection is reliable and there a plenty of museum staff around that you can talk to who will point you in the direction of help.
